Mhub on Saturday the 1st of July 2017 conducted an Intellectual Property workshop targeting innovators, students and entrepreneurs. The Intellectual property workshop was organised in partnership with the Department of Registrar General under the Ministry of Justice
The aim of the workshop was to enlighten participants on various topics ranging from business registration, patents and trademarks. The workshop would fill the gap of a lack of knowledge among many innovators and entrepreneurs with regards how they can protect their inventions and reap the benefits they deserve.
Ms Ada Kasopa who is the senior assistant Registrar General in the Department of the Registrar General was the lead facilitator of the workshop
One of the participants, Phillip Nyangulu from Yes Innovative Solutions (YIS) said the workshop had helped him and others to among other things learn about how as innovators they can have their innovations registered and protect their work.
